– Statement of Faith –

•  We believe the whole Bible to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, without error in the original writings.
II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:21; I Thessalonians 2:13

•  We believe there is one God – infinite, eternal, and immutable – existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
Deuteronomy 6:4; Exodus 3:14; Isaiah 44:6; I Timothy 1:17; John 1:1-3; Matthew 28:19; Revelation 4:11

•  We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ – the eternal Son of God who became man, without ceasing to be God; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death for our sins; His bodily resurrection, ascension to enthronement and glory, and second coming.
John 1:1, 14; Philippians 2:6-8; Luke 1:27, 31; Hebrews 4:14-15; II Corinthians 5:21; I Peter 2:24; I Corinthians 15:3-4; Hebrews 2:8-9; I Thessalonians 4:15-17

•  We believe that all men are sinners by nature and by practice, being alienated by God. Man is unable to remedy his lost condition in and of himself.
Romans 3:23; Titus 1:15; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-18

•  We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Those who have so trusted Christ are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and enabled to live a godly life through submission to Him.
Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 3:24; Titus 3:5; Galatians 2:16; John 1:12; II Corinthians 3:17-18

•  We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person. He is God and possesses all the divine attributes. He indwells all believers, baptizes, imparts gifts as He wills, and seals all believers at the moment of their salvation.
II Corinthians 13:14; John 14:16; John 16:13; I Corinthians 2:10; I Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 1:17-18

•  We believe in the perseverance of the saints – whereby true believers are kept in faith by the power of God; persevering to the end – being eternally saved.
John 10:28-29; Romans 8:29-39; II Peter 1:10; Philippians 1:6

•  We believe that all saints are united to Jesus Christ their Head and also being united to one another in life, they have communion in each other’s gifts and graces.
I Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-28; Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:15-16
